A focused banner image showing a young woman with long dark hair and a yellow knit sweater sitting on a gray couch. She has a serious, attentive expression and is holding a blue and white patterned pillow. In the blurred foreground, the shoulder of another person and a clipboard are visible. A glass of water and a box of tissues sit on a wooden coffee table in front of her, set against a bright, airy background.

Anxiety & Depression

The therapists at Northern Therapy Clinic use a blend of approaches to support you through your anxiety and depression. Our integrative approach includes art therapy, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, and other therapies. We use a range of therapeutic techniques because you are unique!

Are you finding it hard to live in the moment?

Sometimes you wonder if you disappoint the people around you. Life tasks feel impossibly overwhelming, and it's difficult to get a good night's rest. Yet laying in bed feels like the only answer. Guilt surrounds you, especially when you think about the what if's and the should have's. You constantly find yourself thinking about the future, or rehearsing the past. Being present in the moment feels like it can never be achieved.

You might feel hopeless and like a life in the moment is impossible. You can get to a place of regaining control over your thoughts and emotions. Imagine a life where you feel balanced. Where you can cope with every day stressors, without feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders.

It all starts with taking the first step!
