Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology
Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Director
License #10260

Hi, I'm Kaylee! I'm a registered psychotherapist with a passion for helping individual adults and children. I primarily work with those who are struggling with trauma responses such as flashbacks, anger, anxiety, and depression. Life changes are another big part of my work- grief and loss, divorce, parenting, and relationship issues to name a few.

I work from a trauma-informed holistic approach, meaning that I pull from different therapeutic models that I have been trained in. Some of the therapeutic approaches I use are, Rogerian Person Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experiencing, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Together we can navigate what you are facing- whether it is a life transition, childhood or other trauma, behaviours, emotions, or relationship issues. My goal is to ensure you have a safe space to heal- reach out today for an appointment.

Hi there! I’m Kara and I am Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology candidate at Yorkville University. I am passionate about supporting individual adults to create space and a treatment plan, that helps them to achieve their goals while supporting them through the process. I work collaboratively with adults & kids above 11 years old with anxiety, relationship issues, grief, loss, and more.

I take a holistic approach to counselling with a focus on building healthy relationships. I draw from client-centered approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and expressive therapy.

When working with me, I like to create a welcoming atmosphere where you have the space and support to work through what you're facing.

The Therapy Space

The therapy space was created for you. Therapy is meant to be a place where you can feel comfortable being you, and where you and your therapist will work together towards the therapeutic goals. We will support you through the challenges you're facing, and hold the space needed for healing. The therapy space is somewhere where you will not feel judged, where you can come and explore your experiences, your emotions, and your thoughts. The therapy space is a place where you can learn about the psychoeducation behind your experiences.

If you're looking to gain insights into your emotions, your responses, how to move forward in coping with what you have been through, and have someone in your corner who cares and will hold that space, you are at the right place.

All services are offered in our office, or virtually through secure video telehealth or telephone appointments.
